Currey and Company Dahlia 3 Light 22" Wide Semi-Flush Bowl Ceiling Fixture

We installed this over the round table in our dining area. The alabaster pieces have noticeable natural variation, which gives the fixture more character than plain frosted glass. It produces plenty of light without feeling harsh, and the gold finish is softer and less shiny than it appeared online. The chandelier is fairly heavy, and our electrician spent extra time leveling the ring after installation. Once adjusted, it felt secure and looked properly balanced. We are very happy with the finished result.

It gives the room a warm, comfortable glow rather than the flat light we had from the previous fixture. Our electrician needed some extra time to adjust the three cables and get the ring perfectly level, so installation was not especially quick. Once finished, however, it looked clean and balanced. The aged brass details are subtle and work well with the older wood and brick in our home.

We chose this for our family room because we wanted something distinctive without adding a long hanging fixture. The 38-inch width is larger than it may seem online, but the shallow profile works surprisingly well with our ceiling height. The eucalyptus color is muted and slightly uneven across the coconut pieces, which makes the fixture look more natural. When the lights are on, the branches cast interesting shadows across the ceiling without making the room feel dark. It has completely changed an otherwise very plain room.
